About us
BQ Canteen is a neighbourhood café in Amsterdam Oost, on the water at Oostpoort. From 10:00 to 16:00 we serve breakfast, brunch and lunch: sourdough toasts, our signature pancakes with Jersey cheese, homemade bakery and specialty coffee by Rumbaba.

A little secret.
When we create new dishes, we do blind tastings with the team. The favourite ingredient usually turns out to be the premium one (no surprises) — and then we figure out how to make it work on the menu at a fair price.
Breakfast, brunch and lunch all day: sourdough toasts, pancakes made with Jersey milk, granola, bowls and French toast, plus specialty coffee, matcha and a small list of ciders and cava.
